Hi whenever I make such cutlets find theM too soft and not hard enough like restaurants. Is this hard enough to push a fork and take.
Hi Ramya, Yes these pops are firm and will not become too soft and soggy. If you want the cutlets to be firm, you can add some Rava sooji and it will stay firm.
Hi I tried this recipe it tasted great but sadly it fell apart while flying. Any guess where I might have gone wrong.?
Thank u. Hi Elsa, The reason it fell apart was because the mixture was not firm enough to hold its shape while deep frying.
You can either add more bread crumbs so that it absorbs all the excess moisture to keep the balls firm and stay in shape and also as an extra step, after making the balls, refrigerate them for 30 mins before deep frying.
That will definitely help. Again, I dont have the step by step pictures of this one, but it's a simple one. You can easily manage without the pics ;.

Just break bread in small pieces and grind them in grinder. Deep fry them at medium heat. Fry one potato ball first. If it cracks open mix some more bread crumbs and fry them again.
